... Need to win the freaking lottery or something...


... but that would mean I'd actually have to play it.

I am loving the Define Jacket in static plum, and I love love love the Heart Tank in plum also. Sigh.

I do have a meager amount in Lululemon gift cards saved up, but not enough for both. And I really wouldn't wear either all that often- I almost never wear the fitness jackets I have, and I would be unable to wear a bra under this tank which would make it a no-go for cardio. So for this much $$ I should get something I'm going to get a lot of wear out of- Groove Crops or a Cool Racer Back or something.

Today our local Lululemon showroom hosted Salutation Nation- about 50 people and myself met at the park downtown for some morning yoga (and many more around the country). It was a great way to start the day- I have felt pleasantly 'wrung out' all day. I was kinda distracted by all the cute Lululemon that people had on, though!

You can see me on the right there in my Angel Blue tank next to the girl in yellow!

2 Weeks Down!


Hooray! Two weeks down! I really feel like my jeans are fitting looser. I am still waiting for this whole 'extra energy' thing to kick in. Right now I'm just tired and cranky.

This week, I am doing a modified Beginner Week 4 schedule:
Cardio Party 3
Turbo Sculpt + Ab Jam
Cardio Party Remix
3T + Ab Jam
Punch Kick and Jam
Yoga

I am really excited about yoga this week because we are getting a Lululemon showroom (it opens in about 2 weeks) and they are hosting a Salutation Nation in a nearby park this Saturday. There are going to be thousands of people all over the country doing yoga outside this weekend, and perhaps a modest amount here in Albuquerque!

Fourteen Weeks To Fit

In 14 weeks I have a cruise for work (life's rough) and my little brother's wedding. I'm about 11 pounds over my healthy weight and about 20 over 'fighting weight'. The goal is to get down to 'fighting weight' in 14 weeks. At a rate of 1-2 pounds a week that is achievable!

I weighed in at 171 tonight. I knew I'd be up but I was hoping I'd still be in the 160's.

What usually happens to me is I make resolutions and start my workout regimens and get injured and sidelined about 2 weeks in. I am not going to let that happen this time. I am going to make sure I am doing strength and yoga to increase muscle strength and flexibility and prevent injury!

My plan:
5x workouts a week (Turbo Jam!!!)
2x active recovery (Yoga, walking)
Journal Everything (Weight Watchers)

My incentive:
Each successful 4 week period= 20$ Lululemon Gift Card (it would be Beachbody if they sold gift cards!).

My reward: Feeling healthy and looking great on the cruise and at the wedding. Fitting into all the cute little clothes in my closet. Being ready for whatever life has ahead!
