70 Workouts Down!

Blogdate: 10/18

Workout: Cardio Party Remix + 3T

Yesterday I was kinda feeling like, what is the point of this last week- it's not like I can lose much weight in 6 days. But then I realized that this week has the opportunity to be the 'Exclamation Point' on this whole process, the entire 14 weeks. So this week is the 'Exclamation Point'!

Week 14 Schedule (Or, as Chalene says, This is how we're going out!):
Cardio Party Remix + 3T
Cardio Party 2
Cardio Party + Turbo Sculpt (ouch, that's a long one)
Cardio Party 3 + Yoga
Punch, Kick & Jam + Lower Body Jam
20 Minute Workout (we're ending where we started!)

Riptoberfest- Week 3 Day Three!

Blogdate: 10/13

Workout: Cardio Party Remix + Fat Blaster

My DVR ran out last night before The Biggest Loser finished recording. I went on the Message Boards to find out what happened and there are a lot of angry people at there about how these elimination challenges are favoring the men. What challenge wouldn't favor the men? Perhaps something balance based? But other than that- muscular strength or endurance- it is going to favor the men, but that has never stopped women from winning in the past. Remember when Tara pulled that car? Even after everyone gave her all their extra weight? And how did digging in the sand last week favor the men? And now that I think about it, there weren't even any men in the race that first week!

I Hope You're Sitting Down...

... because I got up early and worked out- in the morning!

Blogdate: 10/5

Workout: Cardio Party Remix & Booty Sculpt + Abs

I am much less coordinated in the morning- yikes. But I managed to get my sweat on without killing myself or anything. It feels really good to be done by 7 am with my workout!

FIFTY WORKOUTS DOWN!!!

Blogdate: 9/21

Workout: Cardio Party Remix + 3T

What a milestone! FIFTY! I was really looking forward to my workout- I wore my party pants and everything! My rotation says "Fat Blaster" for today, but I thought that in honor of this special occasion I would do one of my absolute favorites- Cardio Party Remix.

Let's look back, shall we?

Rip You Up Rotation Week 3: Day Three!

Blogdate: 9/16

Workout: Cardio Party Remix + Fat Blaster

I am teetering on the verge. I feel like I am barely hanging on- out of control. My eating has been so off this week- I've got to reign it in. I've got some anxious feelings and I need to deal with them more productively. I'm also feeling down because I know I'm 11 lbs down, I know my conditioning is vastly improved, but I don't feel like I look any different! I thought these pictures would be a great measurement of my progress- but they all look the freaking same!

I took a rest day yesterday because things felt to sore and achy- I haven't had a true rest day in well over 3 weeks. Plus, I really think I need new cross trainers.

Anyway, whoever is reading this, send me your mojo so I can keep going. It's just 6 more weeks (and then the rest of my life).

Rip You Up Rotation Week 2: Day Two!

Blogdate: 9/7

Workout: Cardio Party Remix + Booty Sculpt

I have yet to have an A.M. workout. It just isn't going to happen.

I am feeling so strong on my workouts and I am at the point now where I don't have to talk myself into working out- I'm just going to workout. There isn't a debate.

Stanza of the day from The Ladder of St. Augustine by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow:

The heights by great men reached and kept
Were not attained by sudden flight,
But they, while their companions slept,
Were toiling upward in the night.

Yeah, "Toiling upward in the night". That's me!

Rip You Up Rotation Week 1: Day Six!

Blogdate: 9/4

Workout: Booty Sculpt + Cardio Party Remix

I am really feeling like all I am doing once I get home from work and get the kid to bed is work out. Next week I am going to get up at 5:15 each morning and get my workout in and see how that frees up my evening.

My co-worker is starting Insanity on Tuesday. I cannot wait to see her results. I'd try it- but I'm saving up for Turbo Fire.

Workout 15!

Blogdate: 8/8

Workout: Punch, Kick & Jam

I love this workout. It is supposed to be more athletic, less dancy, but I don't see it. It is just as dancy as the others (at least the way I do it). I did cut it off after the finale and do another finale/finesse/cool down off Cardio Party Remix. The endless capoeira at the end of Punch, Kick and Jam is just too repetitive for me.

NSV!

Blogdate: 8/5

Workout: Cardio Party Remix

I am really impressed by how fast Turbo Jam gets your conditioning to the point where not only can you get through the workout, but you can do so and add power and intensity to it without killing yourself.

Kinda of a landmark moment for me today also, a 'Non-Scale Victory' in WW terms- I am able to take off my size 12 jeans without unbuttoning them!

Tonight I was ready to go- I felt strong and just wanted to knock it out of the park!

Mistakes Burn Calories

Blogdate: 7/24

Workout: Cardio Party Remix

Right up there as far as favorite workouts go next to the 20 Minute workout is Cardio Party Remix (CPR). It is 30 minutes, has two Turbos and came with Booty Sculpt as part of the first Turbo 'expansion pack'. The workout features extended versions of combinations from Cardio Parties 1 and 2 and because it is so short the combinations build quickly. You don't have time to think about how tired you are or anything!

This workout features one of my favorite reminders from Chalene: don't worry about mistakes because mistakes burn calories, too!

CPR is probably more choreography intense than many might like, but I find the challenge keeps me engaged.

My sweetless week is going great! I only went over my points by 2 today!

I am feeling great- this was my 5th workout this week! Week one is almost in the bag!
